Absolute Cinema is an immersive cinematic experience in complete darkness.
No screen.
No image.
Only sound, space, language, memory,
and the invisible cinema
created inside the listener.
Participants enter a dark cinema environment and experience specially designed 5.1 sound sessions where narration, atmosphere, silence, emotion, and cinematic sound become the film itself.
The project was created for a new generation of students and professionals living in a world where disciplines increasingly intersect, and where attention, imagination, emotional balance, and deep perception are becoming increasingly rare and valuable.
Absolute Cinema explores new forms of perception, language, emotional awareness, interdisciplinary thinking, wellbeing, mindfulness, and the relationship between sound, emotion, cognition, and contemporary human experience.
The pilot phase brings together students, educators, artists, linguists, psychologists, psychiatrists, researchers, medical specialists, technologists, and curious listeners interested in broader ways of understanding learning, perception, wellbeing, and the modern world beyond narrow specialization and conventional academic divisions.
Participation is free.
Places are limited.
Minimum age: 15+
English level: B2 or higher.
Duration: approximately 25 minutes.
No special preparation required. No special knowledge is required.

Participants may leave the session at any moment if they feel uncomfortable.
This is the first public pilot phase of the project.
Open Reflection
(Hollywood is taking the evening off.)
An interdisciplinary conversation following the immersive cinema session, bringing together perspectives from language, psychology, wellbeing, psychiatry, art, philosophy, sound, technology, and contemporary culture.
The project is initiated by the Scientific and Educational Institute of Multidisciplinary Research SMART City at Uzhhorod National University.
The Institute develops interdisciplinary initiatives at the intersection of art, science, technology, education, wellbeing, urban studies, perception research, and contemporary culture.
Absolute Cinema was created as an open experimental platform exploring new forms of cinematic experience, listening, emotional perception, attention, and human presence in the digital age.
RoiK AIRoiK AI is the project's technical and digital partner.
The platform architecture, participant system, data environment, registration flow, and interactive research infrastructure are developed in collaboration with RoiK AI to support transparent, ethical, and scalable experimental formats for education, culture, and interdisciplinary research.
Shared VisionWe believe that future education and culture require broader forms of thinking that connect technology, humanities, emotional intelligence, wellbeing, medicine, art, language, and human experience rather than separating them into isolated disciplines.
Absolute Cinema is one step in that direction.
Absolute Cinema especially welcomes students interested in broader forms of learning that connect language, perception, technology, wellbeing, culture, medicine, psychology, art, and contemporary human experience beyond narrow specialization and conventional academic divisions.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the session begins.
The session uses spoken English in an immersive cinematic format. Perfect understanding of every word is not required. Atmosphere, sound, rhythm, silence, and emotional perception are also part of the experience.
There are no correct interpretations, reactions, or emotional responses. Each participant experiences the session differently.
This experience includes complete darkness, immersive multichannel sound, and emotionally intensive cinematic atmospheres.
If you currently experience severe sensory sensitivity, acute psychological distress, or discomfort in dark enclosed spaces, participation may not be suitable at this time.
Participants may leave the session at any moment.
Not everything important needs to be seen.
